Supporting women who care for children

The Moms’ Group is designed to provide support for and community among women who care for children of all ages – mothers, those who hope to be mothers, and the women who support and teach the children in our church. The group’s aim is that it would be a living, life-giving extension of Christ’s body, the Church; where women can connect with other women, finding both safety and depth of relationship. This group also functions to foster the Christian love that is becoming of Christ’s followers, specifically lived out in our service to one another, our families, and our communities.

This Fall, Mom’s Group is moving to the park!  Starting September 14th we will meet Mondays from 3:30 to 5:30 at the 9th Street entrance, weather permitting. Bring your kids and a blanket.

We will be reading Strong and Weak by Andy Crouch this session. It’s about human flourishing and hopefully will be a launchpad for many wonderful discussions about really living in the city while believing God’s good promises for us. Contact Amy Pruitt, Director of Family and Children’s Ministries to RSVP for childcare and for exact location details, or if you have any questions!
